Cookie Policy
Cookies are small text files containing a unique identifier, which are then stored on your computer. Sometimes they’re used to measure how you interact with parts of the site, and sometimes they’re used to recognise you across multiple visits. Your browser can also save information temporarily using sessionStorage. Have a read below, so that you know what I use, and why I use them.
Shopping
If you add an item to your shopping cart, the product details will be saved to your browser's sessionStorage until you close your browser tab. This is required, as the shopping cart would forget what you've added without it. When you're ready to make a purchase, your shopping cart and payment details will be sent securely to Square for them to process.
Account
When you create a new user account, or log in to your existing account, a token will be saved to your browser's lolcalStorage to keep your account authenticated. Your email address will also be saved to your browser's sessionStorage until you close your browser tab, so that your details can be pre-filled in the checkout. These are required, as they keep your account secure and allow purchases to be correctly assigned to your account.
External
This site contains links to external sites, such as affiliate shopping links and useful resources. External sites may set their own cookies when you visit them, so you'll need to check their cookie policies for more information. Notification bar messages are also saved temporarily in your browser's sessionStorage. This is required, to avoid unnecessary database calls.
